About
The International Video Federation plays a crucial role in all EU and international policy and legislative initiatives relating to the video industry (physical media and online) including copyright protection and enforcement, online distribution of audiovisual content and e-commerce, taxation, youth protection and content classification, and consumer protection.
The IVF contributes to the work of EU institutions, the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), the European Audiovisual Observatory in Strasbourg, and the EUIPO/European Observatory on Infringement of IPRs in Alicante.

The statistics have been compiled by the IVF, and its members, in cooperation with IHS Markit. Total European statistics also include data on countries in which the IVF has no local member. These have been compiled by IHS Markit from other market sources around Europe.
